Staff of Urals Transport Investigations Directorate of Russia’s Investigative Committee solemnly congratulated Great Patriotic War veterans and home front worker with upcoming holiday and commemorated those killed during war

On the eve of the 69th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War, the staff of the Urals Transport Investigations Directorate of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation held a solemn ceremony dedicated to the great day.

Employees of the Investigations Directorate paid tribute to the fallen in the Great Patriotic War and laid flowers to the memorial plaques in honor of the Urals residents, who were killed and severely wounded at the front during battles.

After laying flowers, Investigations Directorate employees congratulated Great Patriotic War veterans, who had dedicated themselves to the service in the Prosecuting Bodies in the prewar and postwar years, including as investigators. A congratulatory speech to veterans was delivered by representatives of the Regional Prosecutor's Office and the Investigations Directorate.

By tradition, Investigations Directorate employees congratulated a veteran of the investigating authorities Alexander Ivanovich Netunayev, a retired employee of the Prosecuting Authorities, Class 3 State Justice Advisor, at his home, gave him a congratulatory address and gifts. In the war years, he was an underage home front worker. In 1944, he volunteered in the Chelyabinsk Navigators Military School. He served in the Soviet Army until October 1952. He was awarded seven medals. After graduating from the Sverdlovsk Law Institute he worked as an assistant prosecutor, a deputy prosecutor and the prosecutor of Kamensk –Uralsk, Sverdlovsk Region. From 1980 to 1989, he held the post of the Urals Transport Prosecutor, was awarded the badge "Honorary Worker of the Prosecuting Authorities".

Commemorative events of the Urals Transport Investigations Directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia ended with a ceremony of laying wreaths and flowers at the Eternal Flame as a symbol of memory, and the heroes of the Great Patriotic War.

Together with pupils of children's creativity center of Novy Urengoy (Theatre Studio "Divertissement"), the Novy Urengoy Investigations Department of the Urals Transport Investigations Directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia solemnly laid flowers at the monument to fallen soldiers at the Memory Square. Also, the celebrations to commemorate the 69th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War took place in other cities with the participation of employees of the Investigations Directorate.
