The Main Investigations Directorate of the Russia’s Investigative Committee continues investigating a criminal case over a theft of funds from Soyuz Pravykh Sil (Union of Right Powers) party as containing signs of a crime under part 4 of article 159 of the RF Penal Code (fraud). 

Yesterday night the investigators carried out urgent investigating operations, including the search at Alexey Navalny’s flat, where he was kept under house arrest. The search was conducted in strict compliance with the Criminal Procedure Code, in the presence of lawyers. During the search there were no Navalny’s family members in the flat, he was there alone. The urgency of the investigating operations was caused by the fact, that investigators had got the information about stealing of another’s property. Some material evidence was seized during the search. The check is underway. 

During the probe the investigators are going to classify the actions of individuals involved in the stealing.
