Together with the Blagoveshchensk Association of war, labor, military and law enforcement veterans, the Association of the Elderly, Great Patriotic War veterans, home front workers and students of the Blagoveshchensk State Pedagogical University, employees of the Amur Region Investigations Directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia laid flowers and a wreath at the monument to the victims of armed conflicts of the XX century on May 8, 2014.

Words of gratitude to the veterans for their heroic deeds, an invaluable contribution to the defeat of the Nazis were uttered near the monument.

The memory of the heroes, who had died before that day, was commemorated by a moment of silence.
