The staff of the Ingushetian Investigations Directorate of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation commemorated the last fearless defender of the Brest Fortress Lieutenant of Border Troops Umatgirey Artaganovich Barkhanoyev on the eve of the 69th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War.

The monument to the fearless defender of the Brest fortress is located within the territory of the "Memorial of Memory and Glory" in one of the most beautiful parts of the Republic of Ingushetia near the federal highway "Kavkaz", and each passerby has an opportunity to see this unique structure.

Employees of the Investigations Directorate rendered all military honors to their legendary compatriot, a defender of our country.

Moreover, on the eve of the Great Victory Day, the staff of the Nazran Investigations Department of the Ingushetian Investigations Directorate of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation congratulated a Great Patriotic War veteran and home front worker, an outstanding man, a resident of the city of Nazran Dzhabrail Satoyevich Didigov.

Dzhabrail Satoyevich Didigov’s life was very difficult. After facing hardships and privations in his early childhood, he has devoted all his adult life to labor and creativity. By the way, his seniority is more than half a century, to be exact, 51 years.

He has many awards: "For Valiant Labor in the years of the Great Patriotic War", "For the development of virgin lands", "For Valiant Labor in commemoration of the 100th anniversary of the birth of V. Dzhabrail Satoyevich Didigov is a member of the labor front of 1941-1945, a veteran of the Great Patriotic War, labor and sports. He is an international class master of sports in boxing, a four-time champion of the Kazakh SSR, he was among the winners of the USSR boxing competition in 1954 in Vilnius, he was the champion of the Chechen-Ingush ASSR in 1958 in Gudermes, he is also the Honored Worker of Physical Culture of the Republic of Ingushetia.
