Moscow investigating bodies of the Russia’s Investigative Committee have launched a criminal investigation in a crime under part 1 of article 143 of the RF Penal Code (breach of labor protection requirements) following an explosion at a meat processing and packing factory.

According to investigators, on 15 January 2015, an explosion of high-pressure gas cylinder and then a fire in one of workshops of on the meat processing and packing factory in the village of Rudnevo in New Moscow. Nobody was killed. The injured received timely medical aid.

At present a number of investigative and search operations are underway to find out all the circumstances of the incident. The investigation is ongoing.
