In Saint-Petersburg investigation in illegal deprivation of freedom of buyer

Saint-Petersburg investigating bodies of the Russia’s Investigative Committee have completed investigating a criminal case against shop assistants of Diksi-Peterburg Svetlana Kuznetsova, 25 and Olga Gibova, 33, depending on their roles charged with crimes under part 1 of article 127, part 2 of article 330, part 1 of article 116 of the RF Penal Code (illegal deprivation of freedom, arbitrariness, battery).

According to investigators, on 11 October 2014, Kuznetsova at the said shop on the embankment of Obvodnoy channel, hit a 37-year-old woman on the head. Suspecting that the woman stole some alcohol from the shop, though she denied it, Kuznetsova and Gibova by force out the woman in a freezing chamber and locked the door. The woman called the police, who then released her.

The investigators have gathered enough evidence, so the criminal case has been forwarded for the indictment to be approved.
