In Saint-Petersburg preliminary investigation launched in passenger plane emergency landing

On 25 March 2015, the aircraft commander of a Boeing 737 flying from Moscow to Saint-Petersburg reported a technical failure and his decision to land in the terminal point. The plane landed normally, nobody was injured. The investigating bodies of the Northwestern Transportation Investigations Directorate of the Russia’s Investigative Committee have launched a preliminary investigation in the incident.

At present an investigative team is examining the scene and carrying out all necessary checks to find out the circumstances of the incident. A procedural decision will be made following the check.
