Investigative agencies of the Amur Region branch of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation detained Sergey Terentyev, Director General of "Stroyindustriya-S" OOO, one of the contracting companies engaged in the construction of facilities at the cosmodrome Vostochny. He is suspected of having committed an offense under part 2 of article 145.1 of the RF Penal Code (the full non-payment of wages during more than two months).

According to investigators, Terentyev, heading the specified organization performing construction works at the cosmodrome "Vostochny", knowing that the company has the necessary amount of available funds, intentionally was not paying wages to his employees during more than two months - for January, February and the first half of March 2015. According to available documents, the amount of the debt amounted to more than 14 million rubles.

Thus, as investigators believe, Terentyev caused the specified amount of damages to his employees and violated their constitutional right to remuneration for work.

Investigative actions and search operations aimed at establishing all the circumstances of the crime are now underway. The criminal investigation is ongoing.
