Investigative agencies of the Amur Region branch of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation charged Sergey Terentyev, Director General of "Stroyindustriya-S" OOO, with committing an offense under part 3 of article 145.1 of the RF Penal Code (the full non-payment of wages during more than two months that resulted in grave consequences). Today the court decided to remand the accused in custody at the request of investigators.

According to investigators, Terentyev, heading the specified organization performing construction works at the cosmodrome "Vostochny", knowing that the company has the necessary amount of available funds, intentionally was not paying wages to his employees during more than two months - for January, February and the first half of March 2015. According to available documents, the amount of the debt amounted to more than 14 million rubles.

Thus, as investigators believe, Terentyev caused the specified amount of damages to his employees and violated their constitutional right to remuneration for work and caused grave consequnces to the employees themselves, as well as to their families, who were left destitute.

Investigative actions and search operations aimed at establishing all the circumstances of the crime are underway. The criminal investigation is ongoing.
