In Krasnoyarsk Territory investigation launched in fraud while resettling people from dangerous structure

Krasnoyarsk Territory investigating bodies of the Russia’s Investigative Committee have launched a criminal investigation in a crime under part 4 of article 159 of the RF penal Code (fraud, entailing loss of right on housing).

According to investigators, in September 2014, an unknown person filed false information with the municipal property management department of Bogotol town administration under the regional program for resettling citizens from dangerous structures in Krasnoyarsk Territory in 2013-2017. According to the documents relative of the head of office of the municipal property management department of Bogotol town administration was registered in a flat under the threat of collapse and correspondingly got the right to be resettled to a house newly-constructed under the program. The woman got a two-room flat worth about 2 million rubles and purchased by Bogotol administration for the money allocated for implementation of the regional program. In fact, the woman was not in need of the housing and had a flat in good condition.

The investigators have filed a request to arrest the flat purchased under the resettlement program.

At present investigative operations are underway to find out all the circumstances of the crime and identify the persons involved. The investigation is ongoing.
