Alexander Bastrykin gives school leaving certificates to graduates of Alexander Nevsky Cadet School of Investigative Committee

At the Central Museum of the Great Patriotic War 1941-1945 on Poklonnaya mount Chairman of the Russia’s Investigative Committee Alexander Bastrykin has presented school leaving certificates to graduates of Alexander Nevsky Cadet School of the Russia’s Investigative Committee.

The ceremony was attended by: Headmaster of the Cadet School Igor Zaporozhan, Chairman of the council of the regional NGO Union of Investigation Veterans Vladimir Dontsov, teachers and students of the cadet school, students’ relatives and guests of honor, including Vanya Voronov, who had been badly injured during the shelling in Donbass.

The Investigative Committee Chairman congratulated the graduates, their parents and teachers of the Cadet School on their school leaving certificates. Addressing the cadets Mr. Bastrykin noted that “you can defend your country not only with arms in your hands but also by being a good specialist – a doctor, a teacher, an engineer. But many of you will of course select the honorable profession of a lawyer, will be working as investigators, solving the hardest crimes, ensuring protection of the law, asserting principles of kindness and justice. I am sure that many of you will be willing to continue your education and become employees of the Russia’s Investigative Committee”.

This year it is the 12th graduation from the Cadet School. In all, over ten years, the Cadet School trained and graduated 920 boys and girls, including with gold medals for excellent studies 20; with silver – 23 (3 gold medals and 1 silver medal in 2015). 97% of the graduates continue their education in universities of the Russian Federation. During the study special attention is paid to raising patriotism, readiness to defend the country, improved physical fitness, ensuring intellectual, cultural and moral development, building commitment to the duty, discipline, conscientious attitude to studies, desire to master the profession of an investigator and raising respect to state service.
