Распечатать In Khabarovsk Territory criminal proceedings launched into aircraft accident
The Komsomolsk-on-Amur Military Investigation Department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation has launched criminal proceedings into the crash of a Su-24M2 plane under article 351 of the RF Penal Code (violation of flight rules or the rules of preparations for flights).
According to investigators, on July 6, 2015, at 09:30 pm,local time, a Su-24M2 plane crashed while taking off for performing a training flight near Khurba Airfield. As a result of the crash, the plane crew consisting of senior lieutenants Damir Salakhutdinov and Alexander Ragimov died.
Currently, together with a forensic expert of the Military Investigation Department of the Eastern Military District of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, military investigators are examining the scene. They have taken samples of aviation fuel from the military airfield and the crash scene. The criminal investigation is ongoing.
