The Main Investigations Directorate of the Russia’s Investigative Committee is investigating a criminal case over murders of head of gas operating service of Kizlyar District OOO Dagestangazservis, deputy head of anti-extremism center of the Dagestan Ministry of the Interior, attempted murder of deputy head of Kizlyar District administration committed in 2010 and financing terrorism (parts 1 and 2 of article 205.1, parts 3 and 5 of article 33, article 317, parts 3 and 5 of article 33, part 1 of article 105 of the RF Penal Code). The defendants are a deputy of Dagestani people’s Assembly Sagid Murtazaliyev, head of Kizlyar District Andrey Vinogradov and Omar Asadulayev.

The investigators searched defendants’ residences on 27 July and confiscated Stechkin pistols, Kalashnikov guns, Saiga carbines, a lot of ammunition including that to a noiseless pistol.

Andrey Vinogradov was detained under article 91 of the Criminal Procedure Code on suspicion of accessory in the murder of anti-extremism center of the Dagestan Ministry of the Interior, attempted murder of deputy head of Kizlyar District administration and financing terrorism. Soon the investigators are going to request a court to put him in custody pending trial.

As Murtazaliyev and Asadulayev are hiding abroad, they soon be put on a wanted list and then the investigators will request the court to remand them in custody pending trial.
