Criminalists of Investigative Committee Central Office got to Nizhny Novgorod Region to help investigate murder of children

Criminalists of the Investigative Committee Central Office have set off to Nizhny Novgorod Region to assist in investigating a brutal murder of children. The Nizhny Novgorod Region investigating bodies of the Russia’s Investigative Committee opened a case over the murder of children (paragraphs “a” and “c” of part 2 of article 105 of the RF Penal Code).

According to investigators, there was a family with six small children aged under 6 in Nizhny Novgorod District. The children were not seen in their kindergarten since 25 July 2015, which was reported by its staff to the police today.

When the police officers came to check, nobody answered the doorbell. The neighbors said that they saw the fighter the day before leaving in an unknown direction. On 4 August 2015, the investigators and police officers got into the flat through windows and found dismembered remains of the children.

The senior officials and investigators of the Nizhny Novgorod Investigations Directorate and police officers are working at the scene at the moment. A set of investigative and search operations are underway to locate the mother and father and find out the number of murdered children.

The investigation is under control at the Investigative Committee Central Office.
