Animal cruelty case investigated in Sakhalin Region

The Sakhalin Region investigating bodies of the Russia’s Investigative Committee have received a case over animal cruelty. The case was opened in a crime under part 1 of article 245 of the RF Penal Code.

According to investigators, three local residents, ran over a bear several times while driving a SUV vehicle near the village of Reydovo on Iturup island.

Investigative operations are under way to find out all the circumstances of the crime.
