Investigative Committee sets up board of trustees for Alexander Nevsky Cadet School

Alexander Bastrykin, Chairman of the Russia’s Investigative Committee, held the first meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Alexander Nevsky Cadet School of the Investigative Committee. The meeting elected management bodies of the Board, honorary chairman of which was elected the People’s Artist of the USSR Vasily Lanovoi, while Dmitry Sablin, a member of Federation Council Defense and Security Committee was named as his vice-chairman. The Board of Trustees also includes representatives of veterans of investigation, NGOs, scientific community and representatives of state authorities and other agencies.

Mt. Bastrykin underlined that the Board of Trustees has to help teachers of the Cadet School to raise and education the cadets, to build moral foundations of a future investigator, to organize the education process and develop the school’s technical level. In addition, the Board will constantly support talented children and the children in a difficult life situation from poor families or those neglected by parents.

The Board will meet at least once a quarter of a year enabling it not only actively participate in development programs and events of the School, but to assess real results of its performance, and to develop offers to improve the education process and take measures to resolve urgent issues. All that will allow the Board to fully take part in the activity of the Cadet School and become its integral part.
