Alexander Bastrykin congratulated the winners of Olympiad "Into the legal world"

The All-Russian State University of Justice hosted ceremony of rewarding the winners and prizewinners of Olympiad "Into the legal world" The event was attended by the Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia Alexander Bastrykin, Head of Educational Outreach Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia Sergey Petrov, representatives of HR Directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia, Headmaster of the All-Russian  State University of Justice Olga Alexandrova, Deputy minister of justice of the Russian Federation Eugeny Zabarchuk and other guests.

The Olympiad "Into the legal world" was organized by the All-Russian State University of Justice. During several months over 4000 of pupils from 7th to 11 grade and college students competed in history and law. In terms of the Olympiad the University and the HR Directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia also held a contest of works for Investigative Committee prizes. Apart from that, the All-Russian  State University of Justice also held a contest for colleges "I am legally the first!". The winners and prizewinners of these events also received the deserved awards today.

Olga Alexandrova presented the awards to the winners of the Olympiad "Into the legal world". Before the rewarding ceremony the participants and the guests watched a video on the university life. Olga Alexandrova expressed her gratitude towards the participants and noted that "the Olympiad organized by the University already took its rightful place among other similar contests. The winners received preferential access to higher education. However, the victory is not only a big honor, but also a great responsibility".

The winners of a creative contest of the Investigative Committee of Russia were awarded by Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia Alexander Bastrykin. He commended the effort and talents of the participants and noted the widespread geography of contestants representing various regions of the country. Speaking about the profession of a lawyer, Alexander Bastrykin noted that "law is not only a formal regulation of relations between groups of people and social classes, but also establishment of truth and justice. It takes a lot of professional skills to establish the truth in terms of legal procedure, procedural fight and preliminary investigation. But it also requires such human qualities as kindness, respect for people, empathy, ability to feel someone else's pain and desire to help a person". Alexander Bastrykin suggested the participants to consider entering educational institutions of the Investigative Committee of Russia, expressing confidence that they will become true professionals able to properly protect rights of citizens.

Winners and prizewinners in other nominations including the contest "I am legally the first!" among colleges were also awarded by Deputy minister of justice of the Russian Federation Eugeny Zabarchuk and First Vice-Rector of the All-Russian  State University of Justice Dmitry Guryev.
