Working visit of Alexander Bastrykin to St. Petersburg

Alexander Bastrykin held a field meeting in the departmental educational institution of the Girls' boarding school for girls as part of a working visit to St. Petersburg.

The meeting addressed current issues of the Boarding School's preparation for the school year and the prospects for its development, taking into account the situation with the spread of coronavirus infection. The Boarding School director told the Chairman of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation about the plans and the work being done to achieve them.

In addition, the meeting also touched on other issues of the investigative bodies of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation in the city of St. Petersburg, the Leningrad region and other regions of the Northwestern Federal District.

Apart from that, in terms of the working trip Alexander Bastrykin visited the St. Petersburg City Hospital No. 40, workers of which provide emergency and planned medical care in all areas of its operation. The Chairman discussed with the chief physician of the hospital Sergey Scherbakov issues of cooperation in medical care and treatment of students of educational institutions of the Investigative Committee of Russia in St. Petersburg - the Committee Academy, the Cadet Corps and the Girls' Boarding School.

During the negotiations the parties reach full mutual understanding and relevant cooperation agreement.

In conclusion of the meeting Alexander Bastrykin awarded the chief physician a Committee medal and congratulated the whole team of the hospital on the upcoming Day of Medical Worker, wishing them achievement of new professional heights, successful overcoming of difficult frontiers, health, patience and great human happiness!
