The Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia held a briefing on issues of provision of housing to the officers of the Investigative Committee of Russia. It was attended by Sergey Goryainov, Deputy Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia, as well as the heads of departments of the central office responsible for the organization of logistical support and financial distribution.

Alexander Bastrykin heard reports from the heads and staff of the departments, including the progress of the plan to distribute service apartments among the department's employees, as well as fulfillment of other instructions given earlier. Within the framework of the meeting there were discussed organizational issues of the forthcoming purchase of service housing. The Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia expressed his dissatisfaction with the delay in the process of its acquisition and provision to employees. In this connection, the head of the Committee ordered to organize an official check in relation to the acting head of the department of material, technical and social security Shakhov P.V. and other of his officials.

The head of the Committee also instructed the relevant departments to organize meetings with employees who need to improve their housing conditions in order to clarify issues related to social support in this direction.

In addition, the issue of cadet placement in the city of St. Petersburg was discussed at the meeting. Alexander Bastrykin pointed to the need to study the options for temporary housing for students of the St. Petersburg Cadet Corps of the Investigative Committee of Russia during the construction of the building of the educational organization of the Committee in Peterhof.

In conclusion, the head of the Committee stressed the need to take prompt action to implement the tasks set to improve the living conditions of employees of the Investigative Committee of Russia, indicating that these issues are under his constant supervision.
