The Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia took part in the Grand Circle of the All-Russian Cossack Society

The Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia Aleksandr Ivanovich Bastrykin took part in the first reporting Grand Circle of the All-Russian Cossack Society, which was held in the Hall of Church Councils of the Cathedral of Christ the Savior. The forum discussed issues related to the development of the institution of the Russian Cossacks.

Kondratiev; Head of Educational Outreach Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia Russia Hero of Russia S. Petrov.

His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia sent a greeting to the participants of the Great Circle of the All-Russian Cossack Society.

Alexander Bastrykin in his speech pointed out the symbolism of holding this forum in 2021 - the year when our country celebrates the 80th anniversary of the Red Army offensive near Moscow and the year of the 80th anniversary of the Great Patriotic War, in which an invaluable contribution to the victory was made by the Cossack units. "The history of the Cossacks is inextricably intertwined with the history of Russia. Undoubtedly, Cossacks have played a huge role in strengthening and protecting the state border and developing economic activities on the outskirts of the country. And today the Cossacks are once again helping to revive the Great Russia, strengthening the borders of our Motherland, recreating its military glory and valor", - stressed the head of the Investigative Committee of Russia.

A.I. Bastrykin thanked representatives of the Cossacks for their assistance to the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation in strengthening the spiritual and moral education of young people. "I would like to emphasize once again the significant role of Cossack associations in the upbringing of the younger generation in the spirit of respect for the cultural and historical heritage of Russia. We actively cooperate with the All-Russian Cossack Society within the framework of the concluded Cooperation Agreement. Our employees and students of educational institutions of the Investigative Committee of Russia and Cossack youth associations participate together in various patriotic events. The Investigative Committee holds the "Relay of good deeds", which covered the whole country, and in many cities Cossacks help us," added A.I. Bastrykin.

N.A. Doluda delivered a detailed report, which reflected the first results and outcomes of the work of the All-Russian Cossack Society, outlined key priorities and areas for future activity, and presented the experience of Russian regions in attracting Cossacks to public service and to address a number of other issues.
