The President of the Russian Federation has submitted to the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation a draft law on amendments to the Federal Law "On the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation" which provides for granting the Chairman of the Russian Investigative Committee the power to organize educational, psychological and cultural-educational work within the department and also work to develop physical culture and sport.

The need for amendments is due to the complexity and stress of the work of investigators, as well as a high degree of responsibility for their decisions. In particular, the bill provides the legal basis for the effective psychological monitoring and development of physical culture and sports in the investigative bodies and institutions of the Investigative Committee.

These amendments will also significantly increase the personnel potential of the Investigative Committee of Russia, defining the main directions of educational and cultural and educational activities of the agency, and will facilitate the formation and development of necessary professional and moral qualities in employees and students of educational organizations of the Committee.
