A Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia participates in the Moscow Academy graduation ceremony

The Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia, Mr. Aleksander Ivanovich Bastirkin, participated in the Moscow IC Academy graduation ceremony. The event that took place in the Victory Museum’s Hall of Glory at Poklonnaya Gora, was attended by Mr, A.A. Bessonov, acting Rector of the Moscow Academy, Mr. S.V. Petrov, Hero of Russia and acting education office manager, Mr. A.B. Larin, personnel department manager, Mr. A.E. Kukushkin, the Chairman of the National Investigative Authorities Veterans Association, as well as by the students’ friends and families.

The Chairman of the Investigative Committee congratulated the graduates on the completion of the training and highlighted their successful journey in the Academy. “We provided you with all the essential knowledge necessary for your important and competent job as a criminal investigator, We tried to educate you as patriots of our Fatherland. We tried to educate you as patriots of our Fatherland. Now the ball is in your court!” noted Mr. Bastyrkin. “Today our country is going through a difficult time. Our officers serve our country and free Donbas from fascism a d neo-Nazism. You must remain faithful to the memory of our forefathers - victorious soldiers of the Great Patriotic War,” he added expressing confidence that the graduates will remain faithful to the oath of the law enforcement officers serving in the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation and will practice their professional duties with honor and dignity.

The participants of the ceremony wished the graduates to apply their knowledge, skills and abilities in the interests of the Motherland and its citizens, to serve their country and their profession, to stay faithful to the principles of fairness and legitimacy along the way.

This year 142 Academy graduates obtained a Higher Education degree. 37 graduates completed their education with excellence. 1 received an honorable gold medal award. Many students have achieved significant success in the scientific, social and sports life of the academy.

Over the past 5 years, the Academy has been graduating the most qualified specialists, who perform their services with honor, responsibility and affection to their country and above all with moral determination to tackle any task put before the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation.
