Moskovsky Komsomolets: The RF Investigative Committee raised 4.5 million of rubles to treat children in Donbass

According to the official spokesperson of the Investigative Committee Vladimir Markin’s statement that Moskovsky Komsomolets has at its disposal, officials of the Russia’s Investigative Committee take part on a voluntary basis in charitable campaigns to help children including the ones who have been hurt during military actions in the southeastern Ukraine.

Markin said that the Committee has been cooperating with Dr. Roshal’s International Charity Foundation to help children during disasters and wars for a long time and raised 4.5 million rubles for the clinic last year. Markin informed that thanks to the funds surgeons managed to help spine-wounded Vika and now the girl will hopefully be able to walk again. According to Markin, Sasha was also operated after he had been wounded by a missile in the head and the wounded Seryozha underwent a complex surgery to reconstruct his thigh.

Vladimir Markin also said that the  Investigative Committee Academy students do not only raise funds for the wounded children, but also have held an amateur concert in Dom Miloserdiya (Charity House) founded by Doctor Liza (therapist Yelizaveta Glinka). 5 children who were badly wounded in southeastern Ukraine and 9 children urgently evacuated from the area undereconomic blockade and shelling and in need for immediate medical treatment are staying now in this facility.  “Charity activities for the wounded children have become an integral part of the everyday life of the Committee long ago and it will be so in future”, Vladimir Markin said.
