The Moscow Directorate of the Investigative Committee has opened a criminal investigation into the murder of an underage girl (Part 1 of Article 105 of the RF Penal Code).

According to investigators, a 14-year-old girl sustained multiple stab wounds on the evening of 11 May 2016, at a stair landing in one of block of flats in Svobody Street in Moscow. The girl died at hospital.

At the moment, the underage suspect of the said crime has been taken to hospital with stab wounds to his arms, which the investigators presume he got when the girl fought him back. Soon he will be detained and charged. A number of investigative operations are underway to find out all the details of the crime. The investigation is ongoing.
