The Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia instructed to transfer to the central office a criminal case on the fact of causing bodily harm to a child in the Sverdlovsk region

The Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia instructed the transfer the criminal case regarding the infliction of bodily harm by a native of the Republic of Azerbaijan and her minor sons on a girl born in 2012 in Nizhny Tagil to the Main Investigation Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the most comprehensive and objective investigation.

The investigative bodies of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Sverdlovsk Region are investigating a criminal case under Articles 111, 213, and 150 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (intentional infliction of grievous bodily harm, hooliganism, and involving a minor in the commission of a crime). A native of the Republic of Azerbaijan is being held criminally liable. The criminal prosecution of her two minor sons involved in the beating of the girl has been terminated due to their age being below the threshold for criminal responsibility.

The Chairman of the Investigative Committee has instructed the Main Investigation Department to conduct a thorough investigation and establish the circumstances that contributed to the incident. In addition, a directive has been issued to conduct a repeat forensic medical examination at the Forensic Expert Center of the department.
