The Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia instructed to report on the progress of the criminal case investigation of terrorist attacks in the Republic of Dagestan

The central office of the Investigative Committee of Russia continues to investigate the criminal case launched in regards with the armed attacks in Makhachkala and Derbent on June 23 of this year. Immediately after the crimes were committed, several suspects were detained and charged under Article 205 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (terrorist act), and they have been placed in custody by the court.

It should be noted that other individuals, including those who have attracted public attention in connection with this incident, are also being investigated for their possible involvement in the crime. The department will conduct a thorough and objective investigation to ensure that no one involved in these terrorist attacks escapes criminal responsibility.

The Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia has instructed the head of the Main Investigation Department to report on the progress of the criminal case investigation.
