Armavirsky Garrison Military Investigations Department of the Russia’s Investigative Committee has launched a pre-investigating check into death of a private of military unit 01228 Kairbek Ryskaliyev, who served a line maintenance man of the first road battalion.

It has been preliminarily found that the day before his death Ryskalayev came to the medical aid station and complained about a stomachache. Personnel of the medical aid station sent the soldier to a consultation in the Kurganinsky Central District Hospital of the Krasnodar Territory. There he was diagnosed an “intestinal colic”, after which he was immediately hospitalized to a medical aid station of the military unit 01228. On 24 November due to sudden deterioration of his state, an ambulance was called for him, which tried to deliver him to the Kurganinsky Central District Hospital of the Krasnodar Territory, however, despite the medical aid, the soldier died. The results of the autopsy showed that the cause of the death was acute cardiopulmanory decompensation.

An adequate procedural decision will be made after the check.
