A fire occurred on 2 December 2012 in one of flats in a block of flats in Dobrovolsky Street, Omsk. A man was killed, but his girlfriend managed to save herself. Omsk Region investigating bodies of the Russia’s Investigative Committee have launched a pre-investigating check into the incident.

At present an investigating group is working at the scene to identify the man and his girlfriend, to establish the hotbed, reasons of fire and victim’s death. A procedural decision will be made based on the results of the check.
