The investigating bodies of the Russia’s Investigative Committee in the Republic of Karachay-Cherkessia carry on investigating a criminal case against 3 citizens of the republic accused of killing 5 people in 2001. The investigation has revealed that on 21 Nay 2001 the accused after committing the crime took a taxi from Cherkessk to Kislovodsk in a household of their relation, whom he told about the murder and on his consent lived in his house hiding from law enforcement. Five days later the father of one fo the accused arrived in Kislovodsk and took the perpetrators back to Cherkessk. Stavropol Krai investigating bodies have launched a pre-investigating check into the fact, the result of which will be the basis for a procedural decision.

According to preliminary information the man, who helped harbor the accused of murder is an aide to a deputy of Stavropol Krai State Duma.
