A body of an official of the embassy of the Sultanate of Oman was found late in the evening of 14 August 2013 in a hotel room in Bolshaya Polyanka Street in Moscow. The investigating bodies of Moscow Main Investigations Directorate of the Russia’s Investigative Committee are carrying out a check into the fact.

No signs of violent death were found during the examination of the scene. The furniture of the room was untouched. A medical forensic examination has been set to find the cause of death. A procedural decision will be made following the results.
