Citizens of Pakistan and Afghanistan charged with murder in Voronezh

The Voronezh Region investigating bodies of the Russia’s Investigative Committee has finished investigating a criminal case against a 37-year-old citizen of Pakistan and a 32-year-old citizen of Afghanistan charged with a crime under paragraphs “e” and “g” of part 2 of article 105 of the RF Criminal Code (murder).

According to investigators, On November 2, 2011, the drunk accused had a conflict with a group of Dagestani near a café on Yuzhno-Moravskaya Street in Voronezh. When one of the Dagestani tried to make peace, the 37-year-old Pakestani attacked him with a knife. He ran down his victim and stabbed him. His friend also stabbed the victim multiple times. The man died on the spot.

Investigators have gathered enough evidence, therefore the criminal case with the approved indictment has been forwarded to court to be tried on the merits.
