Pre-investigating check launched in Stavropol Territory in traffic accident killing mayor of Zheleznovodsk

On 12 October 2013, around noon a Land Rover driven by the mayor of the town of Zheleznovodsk capsized at the motorway Stavropol – Singeleyevskoye in three km from the village of Priozyorny, Kochubeyevsky district. As the result of the accident the mayor died at hospital in the resuscitation department.

The investigating bodies of the Stavropol Territory Investigations Directorate of the Russia’s Investigative Committee have launched a pre-investigating check into the accident to find all the circumstances of the crime. A procedural decision will be made following the check.
