As it has been reported earlier, in the evening of 16 December 2013, an officer of patrol and post service of Tverskoy district Police Department was walking home when he saw three men assaulting a woman. Presenting himself the officer tried to stop the crime and detain the men, but they started fighting back. As the result one of the men stabbed the policeman. He was taken to hospital and undergone an operation. The investigating bodies of Moscow Main Investigations Directorate of the Russia’s Investigative Committee have launched a criminal case over sings of crimes under article 318 and 162 of the RF Penal Code (use of force against a representative of the authority and robbery). Three men have already been detained on suspicion of the crime.

A number of investigating and search operations are underway to find all the circumstances of the crime. Investigation is ongoing.
