Moscow Main Investigation Directorate of the Russia’s Investigative Committee charged Maxim Martsinkevich with the crime under paragraph “a” of part 2 of article 282 of the RF penal Code (incitement of hatred or enmity as well as humiliation of human dignity).

We remind that according to investigators in the period between 14 September and 14 October 2013 Martsinkevich posted three extremist videos on his personal page in VKontakte social network. Earlier the court ordered his arrest in absentia, he was internationally wanted and in January 2014 was detained in Cuba and extradited to Russia.

The accused refused to testify. Investigation is ongoing.
