Moscow investigating bodies of the Russia’s Investigative Committee have finished investigating a criminal case against Sergey Mokhnatkin. He is charged with 2 counts of the crime under part 1 of article 318 of the RF Penal Code (using force against a representative of the authority).

According to investigators, in the evening of 31 December 2013, during an unauthorized mass event in the center of the city the suspect hit twice a police officer in the face and hit one time another police officer, while they were trying to stop his wrongdoings.

The investigators have gathered enough evidence, therefore the criminal case with the approved indictment has been sent to court to be tried on the merits.
