In Moscow Region checks underway into death of child in home pool

A two-year-old child drowned while swimming in the pool located in the private yards in one of the settlements of the Ramenskoye District on July 19, 2014. Investigating authorities of the Moscow Region Main Investigations Directorate of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation are carrying out an initial inquiry into this fact.

Currently, work is underway to clarify all the circumstances of the incident. A forensic medical examination has been scheduled. A procedural decision will be taken upon obtaining the checks’ results.
