The investigating bodies of Moscow Main Investigations Directorate of the Russia’s Investigative Committee have opened a criminal case against a 41-year-old resident of Moscow and a 35-year-old acquaintance of hers. They are charged with a crime under part 3 of article 30, paragraphs “a”, “g” and “h” of part 2 of article 105 of the RF Penal Code (attempted murder or two or more people).

According to investigators, in July 2014, the accused decided to kill her ex-husband and father-in-law to get hold of their property. To do that, she asked an acquaintance of hers to find a killer for a fee of 300 thousand rubles. However, operatives learned about the plan. They pretended to be killers and faked the murder. The woman and her accomplice were held during the transition of the money.

The accused were put in custody. The investigation is ongoing.
