In Saint-Petersburg criminal investigation in illegal drug dealing finished

Saint-Petersburg Main Investigations Directorate of the Russia’s Investigative Committee has finished investigating a criminal case against Oleg Streltsov, charged with a crime under part 3 of article 33, part 3 of article 228 of the RF Penal Code (illegal drug dealing).

According to investigators, Streltsov and Alexander Stepanov, CEO of Uniland, on selfish motives, wanted to disparage honor and reputation of the Head of Saint-Petersburg Office of the Federal Tax Service as she was pending extension of her office. In early September 2013, the men ordered their accomplices to plant a mixture of methamphetamine (pervitin) and a mixture of amphetamine, which were drugs and psychotropic substances, in her son’s UAZ Patriot.

Then Streltsov, acting in accordance with his role in the crime, used individuals not aware of their criminal intentions, to let the law enforcement bodies know that the drugs were in that particular car.

The investigators have gathered enough evidence, so the criminal case against Streltsov, who entered a cooperation deal, has been forwarded for the indictment to be approved.

The investigation against Stepanov will soon be finished.
