The investigating bodies of the Russia’s Investigative Committee for the Arkhangelsk Region and Nenets Autonomous Area have launched a criminal investigation against a 41-year-old local resident suspected of a crime under part 3 of article 30, part 1 of article 147 of the RF Penal Code (attempted illegal use of a utility model).

According to investigators, the suspect worked in a firm manufacturing towing snowmobiles. The firm’s director general was owner of sole rights for that utility model (patent). Later the suspect decided from mercenary prompting manufacture and sell towing snow-mobiles by himself. He sold one item for 80 thousand rubles without ascent of the rightholder. Police officers detained the man when he tried to sell another utility model for 65 thousand rubles.

At present the investigators are looking into all the circumstances of the crime. The investigation is ongoing.
