On 9 October 2014, about 10 PM, a dead body of a 15-year-old girl was found in the woods between a residential block of the town of Anzhero-Sudzhensk and a highway. The Kemerovo District investigating bodies of the Russia’s Investigative Committee have launched a criminal investigation into a crime under part 1 of article 105 of the RF Penal Code (murder).

On 8 October 2014, the girl left for a musical school, but did not come home. The girl’s parents reported her missing and today her body was found. An investigating team of the Kemerovo Region Investigations Directorate, criminalists, police operative officers are working at the scene. The cause of death is being investigated. The girl’s was raised in a problem-free family.

At present investigating and search operations are underway to find out all the circumstances of the crime and identify the persons involved. The investigation is ongoing.
