A court has recognized the evidence gathered by the Saratov Region investigating bodies of the Russia’s Investigative Committee sufficient to convict deputy of Saratov City Duma Vladislav Malyshev. He was found guilty of a crime under part 4 of article 159 of the RF Penal Code (fraud on a very large scale).

The court and investigators have found that in the period between August and October 2005, former CEO of ZAO Bogorodskneft Malyshev by deceit and using his position stole over 11 million 900 thousand rubles from the said enterprise. He used the money on his own needs.

The court has sentenced Malyshev to 3.5 years in prison to be served in a minimum-security colony and a fine of 500 thousand rubles.
