Tula Region staff of Russia’s Investigative Committee congratulated home front worker and investigating authorities’ veteran on 85th birthday and Victory Day

The Tula Region staff of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation congratulated Sakharova Mariya Fominichna – a home front worker and a veteran of investigating authorities – on her 85th birthday and the Day of Victory in the Great Patriotic War on May 7, 2014.

Mariya Fominichna Sakharova was born in the village of Vyatkino, Ust-Charyshskaya Pristan District, Altai Territory in a large peasant family. She started her career at prosecuting authorities in August 1960 as an investigator at the Pochinki District Prosecutor’s Office in the Gorky Region. Later she served as an investigator at the Pavlovo-on-Oka Prosecutor’s Office in the Gorky Region, an investigator at the Kozelsk Prosecutor’s Offie in the Kaluga Region, and a senior investigator at the Dzerzhinsk Prosecutor’s Office in the Gorky Region.

After moving to the city of Yefremov, Tula Region in August 25, 1975, Sakharova was appointed investigator of the Yefremov Inter-district Prosecutor’s Office. She retired from prosecuting authorities on October 10, 1991. However, 4 months later she resumed her work as an investigator at the Efremov Inter-district Prosecutor’s Office, where he had worked until March 1, 1994. During the service she has proved herself as extremely hard-working, principled, highly skilled and diligent employee.

Her wisdom, commitment to justice and the rule of law, goodwill and optimism rightfully earned credibility and a great respect from colleagues and friends.

Employees of the Investigations Directorate presented a memorable gift to Mariya Fomonichna Sakharova, thanked her for hard work, loyalty to the chosen path, and heartily wished her good health, prosperity, inexhaustible energy and confidence in the future. The meeting was completed with friendly tea drinking.
