In Moscow sportsman Alexander Emelianenko jailed

A court has recognized the evidence gathered by Moscow Main Investigations Directorate of the Russian Emergencies Ministry sufficient to convict Alexander Emelianenko. He was found guilty of crimes under part 1 of article 132 of the RF Penal Code, part 2 of article 325 (secual abuse and theft of a passport).

The court and investigators have found that at night of 3 March 2014, Emelianenko sexually abused using force a maid in his flat in Peresvetovoy Pereulok in Moscow. After that he stole her passport from her purse.

A lot of DNA and medical tests were run during the preliminary investigation including psychological and psychiatric tests which concluded that the accused was sane. Emelianenko has previous police records.

Emelianenko got 4.5 years in prison to be served in a minimum-security penal colony and a fine of 50 thousand rubles.
