The court has found evidence collected by investigative agencies of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the Republic of Bashkortostan sufficient to convict the 33-year-old former cohabitant of the child's mother, his 24-year-old acquaintance, 17 and 18-year-old college students from the city of Neftekamsk. Depending on the role of each, they have been found guilty of an offense under subsection "a" of part 3 of article 126 of the RF Penal Code (kidnapping), subsections "c, g, h, k" of part 2 of article 105 of the RF Penal Code (murder of a minor), subsections "a,c" of part 2 of article 158 of the RF Penal Code (theft), parts 1,2 of article 209 of the RF Penal Code (banditry), part 3 of article 222 of the RF Penal Code (trafficking in weapons), subsection "a" of part 4 of article 162 of the RF Penal Code (brigandage), part 3 of article 166 of the RF Penal Code (taking possession of a vehicle without intention to plunder it), part 1 of article 134 of the RF Penal Code (sexual intercourse with a person under the age of sixteen).
According to investigators and the court, the former cohabitant of the 11-year-old boy's mother was miffed at her because of their breakup and offered his friends to kidnap the child for ransom, saying that his former cohabitant had an apartment, which she could sell. On the evening of May 31, 2014, the minor Denar Kharipov left the house to meet with the former cohabitant of his mother, who had called him on the phone and had promised to give him a DVD with games. Under the pretext of bathing, the defendants offered the child to sit in the car and took him away in a garden house outside the city, where the boy was kept in a banya. Having realized that the apartment sale will take a long time and the boy should be hidden somewhere during this period, and after assumptions about the murder spread in social networks, the defendants killed the boy. They buried his body near the place where he was held. According to experts, the death cause was asphyxia as a result of strangulation.
Investigators also established the involvement of the defendants in a number of thefts and robberies with firearms committed between May and June 2014 in the city of Neftekamsk and Krasnokamsk District. From April to June 2014, the 24-year-old organizer of the criminal group entered into an intimate relationship with a 14-year-old student of a Neftekamsk school.
The court sentenced the organizer to 25 years of imprisonment, his 24-year-old accomplice to 18 years of imprisonment to be served in a high-security penal colony, and two other members of the criminal group who committed crimes while being minors were sentenced to 9,5 and 9, 4 years of imprisonment in a general penal colony.
