Chuvashia investigating bodies of the Russia’s Investigative Committee have opened an investigation against director of a building company in the town of Cheboksary. He is suspected of a crime under part 1 of article 199 of the RF Penal Code (evasion of corporate tax on large scale).

According to investigators, the suspect evaded paying corporate tax under simplified taxation scheme over the period between 2011 and 2013, by putting false information in tax reports and understating the tax base. The total sum of unpaid taxes stands at about 3 million rubles.

At present investigative operations are underway to find out all the circumstances of the crime. The investigation is ongoing.
