It became known earlier, that about 3 p.m. a dead body of a 41-year-old man with stab wounds was found in a flat in Kirov District in the town of Samara. His 37-year-old wife and 13-year-old daughter were taken to a hospital with stab wounds to stomachs. According to preliminary information, the woman is in grave condition, while the girl’s wounds are of medium range.

Investigation was launched in crimes under Part 1 of Article 105 of the RF Penal Code (murder) and Part 3 of Article 30, Part 2, item “a” of Article 105 (attempted murder of two people).

Thanks to efficient and prompt investigative and search operations, the investigators have managed to identify and apprehend a suspect. It is a 15-year-old son of the killed man and wounded woman. According to preliminary information, he stabbed his parents and younger sister during a conflict. The teenager confessed to the crime during an interrogation.

The suspect is going to be remanded in custody pending trial. The investigation is ongoing, all necessary preliminary forensic inquiries have been assigned. Officers of the Samara Region Directorate of the Russian Ministry of the Interior are providing operational support during the investigation.
