The Main Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia continues criminal investigation of the case for the disappearance of 26-year-old Ms. Elena Logunova in July 2021. This criminal case was transferred to the Main Investigative Directorate of the Department on the instruction of the Chairman of the Russian Investigative Committee for a comprehensive and thorough investigation.

As a result of well-planned investigative actions, on October 7, 2022, the body of the victim and her jewelry were found in the suburbs of Ryazan. The identity of the remains to Ms. Elena Logunova was confirmed by experts. The discovered jewelry was recognized by a close relative of Ms. Logunova.

Currently, a set of measures is being carried out aimed at detecting all the circumstances of the crime, a number of expert examinations are planned.
