The investigative authorities of the Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Krasnodar Territory are investigating a criminal case opened in connection with the burning of items in the Eternal Flame in the city of Sochi (clause “b” of Part 2 of Article 243.4 of the Criminal Code of the RF).

The Chairman of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, A.I. Bastrykin, instructed the head of the Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Krasnodar Territory, A.K. Maslov, to submit a report on the criminal case and the circumstances established during the investigation.
