The Russian Investigative Committee Chairman Alexander Bastrykin has met with the Prosecutor General of Kazakh Republic Askhat Daulbayev. During the meeting they discussed urgent issues of interagency cooperation including in the area of international law.

The sides expressed their desire to extend cooperation within their competence in combating crime in general and in rendering mutual legal assistance in specific criminal cases. Besides, the officials agreed to modernize in the near future an effective cooperation Agreement between the Russian Investigative Committee and the Prosecutor general’s Office of the Kazakhstan Republic.
