In Moscow region one more accused of murder of President of furniture holding 8 Marta taken into custody

The investigative bodies of the Russian Investigative Committee for the Moscow region continue investigation of a criminal case over the crimes under paragraph “g” of part 2 of article 105 (murder committed by a group of persons) and part 1 of article 222 of the Russian Criminal Code (illegal store of firearms). The criminal case was initiated over a murder of president of the furniture holding 8 Marta Mikhail Kravchenko on 20 May 2012.

The alleged organizer of the murder Aleksey Pronin, 36, from the Ryazan region, was detained on 28 May on suspicions in this crime. Vitaly Antishin, the supposed perpetrator of the killing, was apprehended in the beginning of June as a result of coherent and professional actions by investigators of the Investigative Committee for the Moscow region and field officers of the Moscow area police force.

According to the information of the investigators, Pronin decided to kill Kravchenko because of the contradictions over buying and selling of real estate property of “Ryazan motion-picture printing factory”. Pronin offered three his friends in the Ryazan region, Antishin among them, to commit the murder. Morever, he provided the weapons and the car. On 20 May 2012, about 1 a.m. the perpetrators in this car deliberately contrived a car accident with the Kravchenko’s Mercedes Benz. Then Antishin shot several times at the business man. Having made sure that the man was dead the killers disappeared.

On the request of the investigators, Antishin was taken into custody. The investigators withdrew bjects from the Pronin’s apartment proving his involvement in the crime. At present, a complex of examinations is arranged, witnesses are being questioned, and other investigation operations are underway aimed to collect evidence. Two more accomplices are wanted.
